15 Worst Performances In Star Wars Movies
2. Hayden Christensen - Anakin Skywalker
Hayden Christensen's performance as Anakin Skywalker won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor for both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith and, oh boy, was it deserved.
Christensen's performance is hideous. He's extremely irritating, wooden as hell and whenever he hits the emotional beats, such as in his love story with Padme or hinting at the darkness that will eventually turn him into Darth Vader, it's nigh-on unwatchable. This performance really is that bad.
In terms of the worst moments, him giving Padme that creeper expression he keeps giving and yelling "It's not fair!" and "I hate them!" when relating to Obi-Wan not letting him move beyond his Padawan status and his hatred for the Sand People that killed his mother respectively, linger in the memory. If you're able to watch these scenes without groaning you deserve special recognition.
Nevertheless, right now's there no doubt some confusion. How is this not number one? Well, there is something even worse...
