3. Josh Brolin - Jonah Hex/Guardians Of The Galaxy/Sin City 2

Though the extent of his role is yet to be confirmed, it has been revealed that Josh Brolin will play the MCU's ultimate big bad in the shape of Thanos, who will cut an almighty and important figure in the progression from Phase 2 to Phase 3, and presumably will take charge of the Infinity Gauntlet arc after Age Of Ultron. Thanks God for second chances, as Brolin already had a very good opportunity, in a role that he was perfectly cast for in Jonah Hex, and that film was laughably terrible, despite some potential promise. Over-blown, silly and terribly insistent, the film is like standing in a room with a drunken, slurring relative as he smashes increasingly dangerous objects over his head, and not even Brolin's performance can save it. He will presumably be looking for better fortunes with A Dame To Kill For, his third comic book movie, in which he replaces the terribly accented Clive Owen from the original.
