16 Brilliant WTF Moments From Kung Fury
2. The Sequel Tease
Having already showed remarkable resilience from anything as limiting as logic or plot sense, it is then revealed that Hitler wasn't actually destroyed by Thor's devastating hammer blow, and that Mjolnir instead transported him and the giant golden eagle forwards through time to 1985.
Does that mean there's going to be another Kickstarter for a sequel? Well, judging by the fact that the film has already been watched almost 10 million times (and deservedly should see more than double that very soon) there's an audience for it.
That probably doesn't mean any sequel should be released to cinemas - a feature length might be too much and not really in the spirit, but it would be incredible to see secondary funding for Kung Fury to release it on VHS (with the sequel following suit).
Incidentally, there's no post-credits stinger, but there is the promise that "no dinosaurs were extinct in the making of this movie." So that's at least enough to put you mind at ease.
