1. Furious 7 Will Almost Certainly Be A Total Mess
Though that first trailer proved surprisingly great, there's good reason to be skeptical about the end product of Furious 7, given how abruptly the production was sent into disarray with the sudden death of Paul Walker last November. Much of the plot had to be changed, with Walker's Brian O'Conner character being retired, while a combination of CGI and Walker's two brothers (who bear a strong resemblance to him) will be used to fill in for some shots Walker was unable to complete. In short, if Furious 7 is a coherent movie, it will be a surprise and a miracle. That said, if it's a total mess, it will surprise practically no-one, yet given the very public outpouring of grief surrounding Walker's death, one suspects that the fanbase will be pretty forgiving if the plot doesn't make sense. Given the enormous challenges James Wan and co. have had to work with, even if the movie just delivers great action with a stilted plot, that will probably be enough for most critics and audiences to give them a pass under the circumstances.
