Doctor Who fans may remember Scottish actor Tony Curran (if they could see through the tears in their eyes) as Vincent van Gogh in the moving Vincent And The Doctor. Marvel fans, on the other hand, might not know him but they will have definitely seen Curran's face before - several times, in fact. Way back in 2002, Curran appeared as the vampire Priest in Marvel film Blade II, then he briefly cameod as a CIA agent who falls victim to Sebastian Shaw in X-Men: First Class before finally (for now) playing the important role of Bor, Thor's granddaddy, in 2013's Thor: The Dark World. Still, presumably none of these characters can paint a damn fine pot of sunflowers though.
