3. The "Snap" - Avengers: Infinity War

Now, assuming that Thanos will actually put the Infinity Gauntlet on when he has all of the Infinity Stones and will snap his fingers and kill half of the MCU might be a little silly, but something big is going to happen at the end of Infinity War.

The only way to justify Infinity War and Avengers 4 being a two-part event (even without the titles being the same) is to have a flashpoint at the end of the first chapter. That has to involve escalated drama, a huge pay-off on the villain's threat (since he's returning for the second film) and something to pull audiences back into the cinema when the second part is released.

Whatever shape that comes in is going to be the biggest dramatic moment in the MCU to date, even if he doesn't manage to get all of the Stones.
