2. Ty Burrell - The Incredible Hulk

Even before he got the great job of being Modern Family's resident goofball Phil Dunphy, Ty Burrell would have been fairly recognisable thanks to bit-parts in Black Hawk Down and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, but he certainly wasn't at the top of the game.

That might have changed a little had his role in The Incredible Hulk - as psychiatrist Leonard Samson - been kept in as initially planned. Unfortunately, it's all too easy to forget that he was involved at all as Louis Leterrier decided to leave most of his scenes on the cutting room floor.
