2. The Films Are Changed A Lot From The Books (And That's OK)
The films change an awful lot from the books and that's inevitable. Novels and films are too incredibly different mediums and in order for a film adaptation to work it has to be reworked into a movie framework; remember, the first film in this series is an example of a film becoming less coherent due to just copying the book.
Due to the sheer size of the books lots had to be left out and while this will, understandably, annoy some book purists, it needs to be remembered that it was never going to be possible to condense all of the complex plotting and rich world-building into a two hour film for each book.
There are some ill-judged changes - most prominently, the omitting of Dumbledore's backstory, the Maurauders backstory, Half-Blood Prince's climactic battle and Dudley Dursley's (Harry Melling) redemption - but other than that many of the changes felt not only justified to some degree, but inevitable.
