Believe it or not there’s someone (or rather, something) that Sam Raimi loves working with more than Bruce Campbell and his majestic jawline and it’s his beloved ride – a yellow 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88.

Affectionately nicknamed ‘The Classic’, the car formerly belonged to his parents and was later Raimi’s wheels during his college days. The Classic made its film debut in The Evil Dead as the car that Ash and Co travel to the demonically possessed cabin in and later appeared in Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, pimped-out as a deadite-killing death machine.

It’s also the car that Uncle Ben drove in Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and also featured in Drag Me to Hell as the car driven by hex-throwing gypsy Sylvia Ganush. The Classic also made an unlikely appearance in Raimi’s period Western The Quick and the Dead disguised as a covered wagon and featured in The Gift, A Simple Plan, the Fede Alvarez directed Evil Dead remake and many more Raimi movies.
