5. Trainspotting (1996)
The Worst Toilet In Scotland gives Candyman's bumble bee filled pan a run for its money. Trainspotting is more of a modern day horror in terms of the devastating effect that drug abuse can have on someone's body, mind and life; but all in all, that toilet scene is still beyond gruesome. Irvine Welsh shows just how far addicts are willing to go to get another hit or in Renton's case, his last one. Whilst Renton is going through the motions of experiencing diarrhoea - a withdrawal symptom of heroin - his suppositories fall into the toilet and without a second thought, he dives in after them, gagging through the filth on the way.
