This was scary back in the day as you not have only just witnessed poor Marty chewing on some chicken infested with maggots but you then see him pull his face right off. As far as hallucinations go, this isn't one that you want to have when you're alone in the dark, in a haunted house having just chewed on some fresh maggoty goodness. As first, Marty's reflection begins to change in the bathroom mirror as open wounds start to appear on his face and he then proceeds to begin ripping the skin right off, revealing his horrified skeleton. So that's why you should always make sure your chicken is thoroughly cooked.
