Batman Alum: Tom Wilkinson Based on master chef and frequent traveler Anthony Bourdain's novel, Bone in the Throat once again finds Tom Wilkinson wrapped up in the mob business. This time, he's the crime boss in East London, but not much has changed in his plot points since he played Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins. Someone's out to rid him and his kind from the streets, they're just doing so without a cape and cowl. Of course, Wilkinson is just the side dish. The main story focuses on an ambitious young chef who accidentally finds himself in the middle of some mob-related melee when he witnesses a brutal murder in the kitchen of his restaurant. From there, it's a flash-bang of Guy Ritchie inspired set pieces that briskly runs through some mob movie basics while working in odd culinary references. In those terms, the movie is "plated" very nicely, though it features way too much fancy sauce and not enough meat.
