11. Romy & Michele's High School Reunion (Lisa Kudrow)
It's tough to imagine a more perfect role for a height-of-her-fame Lisa Kudrow than that of a ditzy party girl who attempts to reinvent her life ahead of her 10-year high school reunion.
She's terrific, as is her partner-in-crime Mira Sorvino, in a solid gold cult classic comedy which brilliantly balances its shameless goofiness with its snotty-nosed sentimentality.
Kudrow and Sorvino's chemistry carries the film through even its flatter gags - though there aren't many dud jokes, thankfully - and the film as a whole has such an infectious sense of fun, wrapped in a great message about being true to yourself, that the end result is incredibly tough to resist.
Unapologetically broad yet just weird enough to distinguish itself, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion is a shining example of smart-dumb filmmaking.
