10. Slackers
The Original Line: You crazy-*ss bi-atch!
The Ridiculous Redub... Now that's admittedly pretty creative, considering how well it intergrates into the original visuals, but the last time I checked, calling someone a "scaly bass fish" wasn't actually an insult, outside of Monty Python-like weekend re-enactments. But as much as it distracts from the scene (and probably the entire movie, considering how relatively unknown it is compared to Jason Segel's subsequent works) you have to give the editors a hearty slap on the back for their adaptability. And now thanks to the wonders of YouTube, we can all marvel in an otherwise unheralded piece of "reactive art."
9. Casino
The Original Line: Get this through your head, you Jew motherf*cker, you!
The Ridiculous Redub: Get this through your head, you Jew money lover, you! The TV edit for Casino is hilarious, considering how many curses are in the original, and how much bloody violence had to be cut out. It essentially takes an infamously provocative movie that was heralded for its unflinching portrayals of the underworld, and establishing a jarring juxtaposition between the two faces of Vegas, and takes out all the impact. That is apart from this line, which fundamentally misunderstood what was offensive about the original line and replaced one empty curse phrase (though a loaded one admittedly) with a dangerous and arguably even more offensive stereotypical insult.
