7. The Milano (Guardians Of The Galaxy)
When James Gunn - Guardians of the Galaxy's acclaimed director - was a younger man, he had a huge crush on Alyssa Milano. The sexy star of Whos the Boss?, Melrose Place, Charmed and Mistresses, who is two years Milanos senior, was the source of his attraction when he was a teenager and, as a result, he gave the New York Beauty a cute little nod in his Marvel space epic earlier this year. Gunn gave Peter Quill AKA Star-Lords ship the name the Milano, which probably went over most viewer's heads but, when you realise what the reason for that name is, it really does emphasise the kind of creative fun that Gunn likes to have when hes making his movies and emphasises the freedom and control directors have in movies.
