Brian De Palma made many Hitchcock tribute movies in his time, and Dressed to Kill - the director's second erotic thriller to make the list - works as a homage to Psycho (with elements of North by Northwest thrown in for good measure). It's an entirely unusual film, but one that will stick with you long after the credits are rolling on account of a strange final twist. Starring Angie Dickinson, Michael Caine, Dennis Franz and Nancy Allen as four people caught up in a gruesome murder case, De Palma's movie thrives on its blatant eroticism as much as it does its left-field twists. The technical aspects of the movie - as always with De Palma - are mesmerising, whilst Dickinson is magnetic in her role as a bored housewife. It's a sexy, scary and downright bizarre time at the movies that you can't afford to miss!
