20 Everyday Challenges That Movies & TV Make Look So Easy

3. Admitting Mistakes To Our Parents I€™m looking at you, Juno. No matter what kind of parents you are blessed with when growing up, the one thing that you do not ever want to do is disappoint them. Whatever consequences that come your way, you know the ones that will sting the most is their loss of trust in you and their opinions regarding your integrity as a mature individual. It is never easy coming clean to anyone which makes your approach the most important and gut-wrenching part. You never know the best way until it€™s over and you realize that you chose the worst way imaginable. I really do think that the entertainment industry makes coming clean either seem easier to do or result in little to no consequence in order to promote truth amongst younger audiences. Really, though, I would rather slay a dragon then tell my parents that I€™m 16 and pregnant. 2. Couch Potato Yes, there are people in the real world that thrive on staying active. People who can be excited after an eight hour work day to go for a five mile jog or something just as €œrefreshing€. I, however, am still at that point in my life where my nights are based around what show is on. I play video games, I watch shows in season chunks, and yes, I spend a lot of my free time watching movies. I get out of the house on occasion to enjoy some fun in the sun, but I do think about my glorious couch when my feet start to hurt. This doesn€™t make me a fat, lazy stain on society (despite my admitting to being lazy throughout this piece). However, movies and TV make me feel as though I am due to their lack of main characters who act like me.
