20 Everyday Challenges That Movies & TV Make Look So Easy

15. Had A Little Help From My Friends

road trip When I was in college (and a few years after), I was a fan of making short films. It was in my nature as a film addict and aspiring actress/writer/director/editor/etc. When I had the script and story board all set up, I found I could only wrangle half the amount of people I actually needed because of a little thing I like to call reality. In movies and TV shows, however, there is never a lack of friends who want to help out! Ocean wants to rob a casino and win back the love of his life? Eleven people jump to help. Rick Castle wants to write a new mystery novel? He has the entire NYPD on his side! Road Trip, Gilmore Girls, 21, there is no end of protagonists with makeshift friendships that they can call upon for help. It is almost like every friend of any character has one job - to be ready and willing to help at a moment€™s notice.

14. Speech! Speech! Speech!

never been kissed Much like knowing the perfect comeback fifteen minutes after the insult has been slung my way, I often come up with perfect speeches to give to people days after the issue has been dissolved. How are characters so lucid that they can, at any given moment, express and conclude their thoughts in a very speech-like manner that leaves the other characters in awe and admiration? Even if I do get the opportunity to launch one of my thought-out speeches, it usually falls on deaf ears or constantly moving, excuse-covered individuals who don€™t even take the time to let what I say sink it. What is a complete waste of time for me only adds to the power and support of people like Janis Ian from Mean Girls, Josie Geller from Never Been Kissed, and Calvin Owens from Greek.

I am a college graduate of Penn State with two bachelors in the arts. When I'm not writing or performing, I am an SFX make-up artist for local up and coming films in the Houston area. I love horror movies, James Spader, and will watch anything suggested to me.
