It's not really up for debate, the dinosaur special effects featured in Jurassic Park stand up to this very day. Particular credit goes to the T-Rex, who has an incredible sequence in this film. During a trial run at a dinosaur theme park, things are starting to get pretty hairy as two Jeeps full of visitors are stranded due to a power outage. It's dark, rainy, and they're surrounded by a bunch of wild animals that weren't really designed to coexist with humans. The night doesn't seem capable of getting any more tense, and then something super big and heavy starts making the water in cups on the dashboard vibrate. After a few seconds of growing, tangible dread, the gigantic, terrifying T-Rex makes its grand appearance. Like any of the other dinosaurs in the movie could possibly top that. And look, say what you want about the Jurassic Park movies, but if you don't get a little nervous and check for nearby dinosaurs whenever you see water doing that weird vibrating thing, there's something wrong with you.
