Box Office: $650 million approx at the time of press (#12)

Justice League's box office under-performance has been one of Hollywood's biggest stories this year, stemming from a combination of audience scepticism following Batman v Superman and, well, the fact that the film just isn't very good.

With its much-publicised trainwreck of a production, it's clear that Warner Bros. tried to reconfigure Justice League as a more soft-edged, Avengers-esque superhero romp, but the end result is sadly a film that feels like it was created in a lab by a studio algorithm.

There are fun character moments and some occasional action that works, but for the most part it's an uninspired, underwhelming caper with a terrible villain, awful visual effects and an especially underwhelming introduction for new superhero Cyborg. Meh.
