Why It's Unexpected: Sure, Gary Busey is no stranger to shlocky B-movies, but Sharknado is on a whole other level. In case you didn't know, Busey was nominated for a freaking Oscar in 1979, and now he's doing...this.
Will It Work?: Definitely. Busey has grabbed his eccentric label with both hands and plays up to it well enough, so even though the script will be absolute garbage (and fans would accept no less), it should provide at least a few giggles having Busey in the fray.
Extra points if he gets a hilariously gruesome death.
