14. A Fan Sneaked In An Unexpected Robin Easter Egg

The Dark Knight Trilogy was light on Easter Eggs, and so, apart from the odd nod to the comic books here and there, it's not the kind of series fanboys can analyse in great detail. However, one scene which stuck out like a sore thumb in The Dark Knight Rises featured a very noticeable sign in the crowd during the sequence in the football stadium. In one row, a number of fans can be seen holding up letters which spell out "Rogues" (for the Gotham City football team), but it's the "R" which fans immediately realised was familiar to them. Its design is identical to that of Robin in the comic books, and the fact that this shot appeared in the trailer for the movie obviously led to all sorts of theories about Batman's sidekick. However, this wasn't some sort of clever foreshadowing to John Blake's transformation at the end of the movie. Instead, an extra had actually taken the sign into the stadium with them.
