3. Apple Had A Hand In Developing The Look Of Eve

If you thought Eve in Wall-E was very reminiscent of an Apple product, that's because the design was heavily influenced by Apple itself.

Director Andrew Stanton said that he wanted Eve to be a piece of high-end technology that was also "seamless and for the technology to be sort of hidden and subcutaneous." As he was describing how he wanted it to look, he realised he was essentially describing an Apple product.

So Stanton called up Steve Jobs, who sent over Jonathan Ive to help them out. He had to do so in a super secretive way though, not giving away anything of what Apple was working on. The Pixar crew would show Ive some of their designs for Eve and run ideas by him, and he'd just nod yes or no.

As director Andrew Stanton said, "Apple is so proprietary and so secretive that he couldn't even really allude to where the future of technology was going."
