With the unexpected critical and commercial success of Saw X, the Saw franchise's producers understandably want to strike while the iron is hot and get a sequel into production, especially as star Tobin Bell is already 82 years old.
Saw XI was originally schedule to release this September with Saw X filmmaker Kevin Greutert returning to direct, but it ended up being pushed an entire year to September 26, 2025.
However, reputable leaker ViewerAnon recently reported that due to "creative disagreements among the producers," Saw XI is also unlikely to make its 2025 date, and will instead probably bow in 2026.
