Charlie Kaufman, writer and producer of the likes of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovich, will release an adaptation of Ian Reid's 2016 psychological thriller, I'm Thinking Of Ending Things. When a girl takes her boyfriend to the family farm to meet her parents, they end up on 'a terrifying journey through their fragile psyches', in a plot that seems somewhat reminiscent of Jordan Peele's Get Out.

Starring Jesse Plemons, Toni Collette, and David Thewlis, Brie Larson was originally tied to the project before dropping out and being replaced by Chernobyl's Jessie Buckley. Though listed as a drama, this movie will likely fall closer to the thriller/horror genre.
