2. Han Solo Dies

It feels like Harrison Ford has spent his entire career trying to escape the shadow of Han Solo, so perhaps the rumour that he requested the character to be killed off in Star Wars: The Force Awakens shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. One scene apparently involves a tense confrontation between Han and Kylo Ren, who strikes his father (?) down. If true, this will obviously be a hugely shocking and emotional scene. Following his friend's death, Chewbacca reportedly "lets out a barrage of angry roars and laser blasts", so you can already get an idea of how heartbreaking this scene could end up being. Killing Han off is a ballsy move, but would help to establish Kylo as a very serious threat moving forwards.
