20 Most Outrageously Violent Movies Since 2000

14. The Devil's Rejects

Horror fans have often had a love/hate relationship with rock musician turned film director Rob Zombie - many were divided over his remake of John Carpenter's seminal slasher movie Halloween, while his homage to movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House Of 1000 Corpses, is something of an acquired taste. The Devil's Rejects - the sequel to House Of 1000 Corpses which sees the psychopathic Firefly family on the run from a vengeance-seeking, equally psychotic sheriff - might not have the same supernatural elements which made the prequel's finale so memorable, but it more than makes up for it with its virtually non-stop scenes of torture and murder. The nods to Sam Peckinpah might be a little heavy-handed but if you want a horror movie that never really lets up, The Devil's Rejects is about as vicious as they come.
