2. The Gestapo's Last Orgy (1977)

Without a doubt the most egregious of the mainly Italian Nazisploitation film cycle, The Gestapo's Last Orgy focuses on concentration camp inmate Lise Cohen, a girl with a heavy burden on her conscience. She believes she is responsible for her family being captured by the Nazis and therefore shows no emotion when subjected to all sorts of horrors. When the camp doctor tells her she was not responsible for her family's capture, she embraces life and starts an affair with a camp commander a la The Night Porter. In fact the whole film rips off The Night Porter mercilessly. The list of repellant things in The Gestapo's Last Orgy Is as long as my arm. 'Jewish baby stew', flambéing a woman in Brandy, dipping female prisoners in quick lime, Lise wearing a girdle made out of scalped inmates' hair and lots of highly offensive Nazi slurs against Jewish people. The film is rendered all the more horrible by the relatively high production values for a film of this ilk. I cannot envisage that a lot of people would give this film a thumbs up due to its revolting content.
