20 Most WTF Movie Moments Of 2021 (So Far)

You won't find many movies from 2021 more fearlessly effed-up than False Positive.

The film follows Lucy (Ilana Glazer), who along with her husband Adrian (Justin Theroux) is trying to conceive a baby, and eventually decides to seek help from a leading fertility doctor, Dr. John Hindle (Pierce Brosnan).

Using Hindle's pioneering insemination technique she becomes pregnant with triplets, though Hindle suggests a "selective reduction" where the single female fetus is terminated to protect the two males.

Lucy decides she wants to keep the female fetus instead, and surprise surprise, it turns out at the end of the movie that Hindle not only terminated the female against her wishes, but that all three pregnancies were the result of his own sperm.

After Lucy attacks Hindle and destroys his sperm collection, she leaves his office with her dead female fetus in tow, before handing the two twin boys off to Adrian, who appears to have been in on Hindle's ruse from the start.

In the jaw-dropping final scene, a blood-soaked Lucy picks up the dead female fetus and holds it to her breast, imagining that it suddenly comes to life and begins to suckle.

Between the impressive visual effects and sheer twisted imagination of the sequence, this was cinema at its most aggressively WTF over the last six months.
