2. Tej & Roman Go To Space - F9
Fast and the Furious fans have been joking for years that the series needs to finally go to space, and in F9 director Justin Lin finally made it happen.
In the film's third act, the Family needs to destroy a satellite onto which Jakob (John Cena) is planning to upload the omnipotent tech Ares, resulting in Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) flying a rocket-propelled car into freaking outer space.
The scene may be brief, but it sure is glorious: Roman and Tej kitted out in duct-taped spacesuits flying out of the stratosphere, catching an awesome view of Earth, destroying the satellite, and then being rescued by an actual spaceship.
We can only hope this is laying the track for a more expansive trip to space in the tenth or eleventh film with the entire Family coming along for the ride.
