5. Roman & Tej Go To Space - F9
F9 may have been a fairly disappointing entry into the "Fast Saga" overall, but it absolutely delivered on the WTF front, from the hilariously silly explanation for Han's (Sung Kang) resurrection, to John Cena's inexplicable casting as Dom's (Vin Diesel) brother Jakob, to the fact that they finally freakin' went to space.
Fans have been joking for years that, with the series' increasing absurdity in recent sequels, it's just a matter of time before they head to space. And while F9's trip there isn't long, it sure is hilarious.
When the Family needs to destroy a satellite to stop Jakob's plan, Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) are called upon to fly a rocket-powered car into outer space.
Watching Roman and Tej wearing homemade spacesuits while driving a barely-held-together jalopy along the runway, it's impossible not to consider how someone watching the original Fast and the Furious back in 2001 would feel if you showed them this clip.
Seeing Roman peering at Earth from the expanse of space is peak wonderful silliness for the series, though hopefully given the brevity of this trip they'll make a return in the apparently final two upcoming sequels.
