Uproarious stoner comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle ends with Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) finally completing their chaotic pilgrimage to White Castle and chowing down on some well-earned sliders.

After this, Harold finally confesses his feelings to his crush Maria (Paula Garcés), who kisses him before telling him she's heading to Amsterdam for 10 days, prompting Harold and Kumar to plot a trip there themselves. A natural sequel setup if there ever was one,

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay ultimately resumes from shortly after this moment, as Harold takes a shower and reflects on the outcome of his evening.

However, he's soon enough interrupted by Kumar, who is evacuating his bowels in the wake of the dozen-or-so White Castle burgers they each just ate, before they head to the airport for their Amsterdam trip.

There's sequels picking up from the original's cliffhanger ending, and then there's Harold and Kumar remembering how much food its heroes ate at the end of the first film, all in the service of a poop joke payoff.
