20 Movies Since 2010 So Awful They're Actually Harrowing

9. Trespass

Trespass Nicolas Cage
Millennium Entertainment

Another year, another dumb movie with Nicolas Cage screaming like a class of angry three-year-olds and further making everyone question why he gets work at all. What would a cinematic year be without one of these? This one, however, is particularly depressing.

It doesn’t have any standout hilarious moments of Cage insanity and the actor, a year after his return to form in Kick-Ass, is just embarrassing to watch. The film itself is a laughably tedious and idiotically convoluted hostage ‘thriller’ with material so thin 15 minutes consist of Nicolas Cage explaining the laws of diamond ownership to the villains… that’s it.

Trespass is an unusually forgettable movie that's very loud and unpleasant to watch, yet paradoxically very bland at the same time. Not surprisingly, this was a box office bomb and the film wasn't even interesting enough to get more than one Razzie nomination. It was on Netflix at one point, but thankfully has even been erased from there. Therefore, in all likelihood this will be forgotten and no-one else will know about and watch this useless garbage. This is just one film that’s incapable of doing anything aside from shattering your eardrums.
