20 Movies Since 2010 So Awful They're Actually Harrowing

1. Movie 43

Picture this: a film that’s four hours in length. It’s co-directed by Michael Bay, Jason Friedberg, and Aaron Seltzer. It’s written by Skip Woods. It stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Tara Reid, Nicola Peltz, Taylor Lautner, Hayden Christensen, Megan Fox, Orlando Bloom, Sam Worthington, Tommy Wieseau, Alex Pettyfer, Jai Courtney, Keira Knightley and Keanu Reeves. The plot of that film is these actors fighting a group of atrociously animated cartoon sharks by urinating on them. That movie would be ten times better than Movie 43.

Movie 43 is something where no one knows why it exists. It's a collection of repugnant, artless, horrifically unfunny and excruciatingly abysmal comedy shorts... staring some of Hollywood's best current actors. No one knows how this got made (not even the actors, as only Chloe Grace Moretz and Sean William Scott attended the premiere), and Hugh Jackman and Chloe Grace Moretz's skits are among the worst scenes ever put to film.

Sanity-destroying, repellant and painfully hard to watch, surely this is what the word 'Harrowing' was invented for? Worse than worthless and genuinely disturbing, Movie 43 is a contender for the worst film of all time. A more meritless film is hard to imagine.

Any more films from this decade you think deserve a mention? Shout it out in the comments.
