20 Movies Since 2010 So Awful They're Actually Harrowing

Going from one repugnant film to another, this one has a killer premise: Arnold Schwarzenegger is the leader of a group of DEA agents who are getting picked off one by one by an unknown murderer. A gritty crime thriller meets Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, one of the best mystery books ever, should have been awesome.

Yet, despite a dark, nuanced performance from Arnold Schwarzenegger and strong direction from David Ayer, this deserving box office bomb is soulless, badly paced and abysmally written (By Skip 'Die Hard 5' Woods), and stands as one of the worst action films of recent times.

What makes this so unbearably dreadful is how hateful every part of this film is. With more violence than a video nasty, ludicrous amounts of swearing, and characters so hateful they make the slasher movie villains of the 70s and 80s look like Disney princesses, this finally gives Transformers 2 a contender for the most obnoxious action film of all time. It also contains the most disgustingly, skin-crawlingly hateful female character (Lizzie, played by Mireille Enos) in cinematic history.
