20 Movies Starring Harry Potter Actors Coming In 2017

The first instalment of the long-awaited Star War sequel trilogy, The Force Awakens, finally hit cinemas last year accompanied by a whole lot of hype and a flood of marketing tie-ins ranging from the typical collectible toys to bizarre products like Star Wars branded nail varnish. It’s safe to say we can expect just as much of a fuss when its follow up, the as yet untitled Episode VIII, comes out next year.

While Episode VIII definitely won’t see the return of Harrison Ford (rest in peace, Han Solo), Domhnall Gleeson will reprise his role as General Hux and will be joined by fellow Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis, who actually played an Ewok in back in Return of the Jedi, in a currently unknown role.

We’ve got a while to wait yet with Episode VIII not scheduled for release until mid-December, but the soon to be released Rogue One should fill that Star Wars shaped gap in our lives in the meantime.
