20 Must-See Billion Dollar Movies

The highest-grossing film of all time is a worthy number one and it's certainly a hell of a lot better than Avatar, the previous highest-grossing film (don't expect to see that on this list).

In a year when Game of Thrones delivered a disastrously bad ending and Star Wars delivered The Rise of Skywalker, a perfectly decent but undeniably messy (and as such, not on this list) finale to the Skywalker Saga, it's great to see that another huge franchise actually did give both fans and the characters the ending they deserved.

An epic three-hour odyssey of time travel, hilarious gags, fan service, brilliant character moments and ace action sequences, Avengers: Endgame is huge in every sense and it's a testament to the skill of Marvel Studios that they actually pulled this movie off.

It's not perfect and it's not as good as its predecessor (more on that soon) but it is a very strong superhero film does all of its beloved heroes justice and makes for a wonderfully emotional blockbuster viewing.
