20 Must-See Billion Dollar Movies

15. Frozen

Jurassic Park
Disney

Gross: $1,280,802,282 (#16 of All Time)

Frozen is one of the most famous movies of modern times and it's had a bigger cultural impact than most films could ever dream of. Even now, Frozen merchandise is still pretty much everywhere.

Due to how popular it is it's become kind-of cool to hate, but even if it has been trivialised, Frozen is still a remarkably strong family film. The great visuals, humour, characters and set-pieces will delight children while adults will be moved in their seats by its touching, heart-warming story, making this another Disney animation with a wonderfully universal appeal.

It's easily one of the best Disney animations of the modern era and it's going to hold up far better than its haters will care to admit.

It was the highest-grossing animated film of all time for quite a few years, but it's been overtaken by two other films. In second place is its competent but forgettable 2019 sequel (#10 of All Time) and the highest-grossing animated movie ever is, sadly, the godawful 2019 Lion King remake (#7 of All Time).
