Predicted Critical Consensus: "Easily the best of Thor's three outings to date, Ragnarok is a highly entertaining buddy movie that moves the Marvel Cinematic Universe into curious new territory."
The first two Thor movies scored 77% and 66% despite, honestly, being average and mediocre respectively, so with acclaimed director Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows) at the helm for part three and a barmy plot that teams Thor and The Hulk together, this one would have to go drastically wrong not to be a major critical hit.
Expect reviews similar to the first Guardians of the Galaxy, praising the humour, action and visuals, likely making it the best-reviewed comic book movie of 2017. We can hope, anyway.
