20 Terrible Film Lines That Had No Right Being Memorable

18. "Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner"

Dirtydancing A huge hit for Emile Ardolino, Dirty Dancing often tops the list of all-time favourite chick-flicks, with "Time of my Life" being unapologeticly pumped out in school discos ever since the film's release. Aside from the soundtrack, Dirty Dancing is also known for an infamously wooden line of dialogue uttered by Patrick Swayze, when his protagonist character Johnny Castle slides across the room to the sullen Baby (Jennifer Grey) and defiantly takes her by the hand and leads her away. The famous line "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" isn't really deserving of such fame, but it's stuck around alright, and much like the hip-swinging soundtrack, doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.
