20 Terrible Razzie Mistakes - Corrected

2. Batman Returns - Worst Supporting Actor

Penguin Batman Returns
Warner Brothers

This is another credibility-defying blunder from the Razzies' early days. Batman Returns itself might be a bit of an acquired taste but Danny DeVito's great performance as the Penguin is an absolute masterwork of villainous acting and him being nominated for a Razzie is simply impossible to understand.

Corrected:

What makes this nomination even more mysterious is that there was a far more obvious and far more deserving nominee right in plain sight: Keanu Reeves' widely-maligned turn as Johnathan Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula, a performance which also gave us one of the worst fake British accents ever committed to film.

Had he been nominated, he could easily have won and it'd have been hard to complain if he had.
