8. There Were Tensions On Set
It's not a secret that James Cameron was, and still is, one of Hollywood most demanding directors.
The crew for Aliens was very different from what Cameron was used to working with. Cameron was used to young and enthusiastic crew members who would pull out all the stops to get a film over the line.
This crew however, were more apparently more dedicated to their teabreaks: "In the middle of filming a scene, the giant stage doors swung open, letting the special effects smoke spill out, so the crew could rush the tea lady, with her urn of hot water and plate of cheese rolls."
