Warner Brothers' Batman films had been increasingly aimed toward producing an income from toys and marketing. A similar approach was taken with Catwoman; Warner even entered into a marketing deal with Mattel for a line of Catwoman-inspired Barbie dolls!

One of the other marketing tools that accompanied the film was a video game that closely followed the film's storyline and featured Canadian-American voice actor, Jennifer Hale in the main role.

Even though it shared a lot of the film's less satisfactory aspects, it was still an enjoyable game to play, providing modern gamers with the opportunity to slink and swing around town as Catwoman whilst taking down A LOT of bad guys and exploring locations from the film.

Interestingly, the game's version of Detective Tom Lone also resembled Josh Lucas, who was considered for the role before Benjamin Bratt was cast.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
