In the final film, Sharon Stone's Laurel Hedare and Benjamin Bratt's Detective Tom Lone share very few scenes together. However, towards the end of the film, Laurel shares two brief scenes with Lone, which culminate in her shooting him in the shoulder, only for Catwoman to come to his rescue.

Bratt was later considered for the role of Dr. Michael Glass in the 2006 film, Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction, in which Sharon Stone reprised one of her most famous roles - that of Catherine Tramell. However, Stone purportedly claimed that Bratt was not a good enough actor for the role and, since she held a number of permissions over creative decisions for that film, his casting was not pursued further.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
