The Sixth Sense did huge numbers at the time of its cinema release, with the film bringing in a global box office haul of $672 million from its $40 million budget. But not content with that, the movie also did similarly massive numbers when it was given a home release.

Hitting VHS and the emerging DVD market in March 2000, The Sixth Sense was rented by 80 million people in 2000.
