20 Things You Didn't Know About The Social Network

10. Aaron Sorkin Cameo

A real blink and you'll miss it moment, the great man himself, Aaron Sorkin makes a cameo. He appears as a potential investor who Saverin tries to pitch The Facebook to, only to get rejected thanks to Zuckerberg's inappropriate and obtrusive behavior.

It's a shame he's only on screen for a matter of seconds, with only two lines, as it would have been great to seem him actually deliver some of his own words in the same fast-paced way that he read it to Fincher before filming.

Sorkin is no stranger to cameoing in his own work, having done so on The West Wing many years prior. In fact, before becoming a screenwriter, he had actually studied as an actor but didn't haven't much success with that line of work. Thankfully he switched career paths and the rest is history.
