Opting to bring back one of the most well-known droids ever to be forged in this galaxy far, far away, Attack of the Clones saw the return of everyone's favourite wise-cracking collection of neurotic circuits in Anthony Daniels' C-3PO.

But instead of gifting the Original Trilogy staple a brand new mechanical costume to get to grips with over the course of his various non-CGI appearances on the likes of Tatooine, the original suit from those OG set of flicks was dusted off, repainted, and ultimately aged for usage in this Prequel Episode.

Also, the original plan was for Daniels to puppeteer the skeletal version of Anakin's droid last seen in The Phantom Menace. But upon experiencing some understandable difficultly bringing the robot to life, the call was made to simply dump the actor back into his tried and tested plated suit whenever he wasn't being launched around a droid-making factory instead.
