16. Has Peter Totally Lost His Celestial Powers? - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

The Question: With the death of his father Ego (Kurt Russell) at the end of the movie, has Peter (Chris Pratt) lost all of his Celestial powers, or have any actually remained?

The Likely Answer: Ego very clearly outlined that his own death would rob Peter of his supernatural powers, but him being a half-Celestial, it's still easy to believe there will be some residual power left behind.

Sure, Peter probably wouldn't be able to withstand holding an Infinity Stone anymore, but don't be surprised if he pulls out some nifty powers of his own at the eleventh hour in Infinity War. Or perhaps his powers will lay dormant for a while and re-emerge in either Avengers 4 or Guardians Vol. 3.
