20 Upcoming Netflix Originals You NEED To Know About

Love it, hate it, or totally indifferent to it, there's no denying the mind-melting popularity of last year's action extravaganza Red Notice, which racked up a ludicrous 576 million hours viewed within just 28 days of its release, setting a new record for Netflix.

While the film's tangible success isn't easy to measure, the metrics clearly represent a lot of value for Netflix in terms of retaining customers and attracting new ones, so it's no surprise that they're quickly pressing on with two sequels.

Red Notice 2 and 3 are currently in development with all upfront personnel expected to return, and presumably with the intent of saving money, Netflix will also shoot the sequels back-to-back.

Now given the busy schedules of Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot, it remains to be seen when the films will begin filming, though the back-to-back shoot should hopefully ensure we're not left waiting too long between them.

If the films begin shooting this year, they could certainly bow in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
