There's been talk of a potential feature film spin-off of Idris Elba's crime drama series Luther for years, and in 2022 it's finally coming to pass, with BBC and Netflix teaming up on a continuation of the hit TV show.
With Luther creator Neil Cross penning the script and regular director Jamie Payne helming, alongside a supporting cast including Andy Serkis and Cynthia Erivo, this will hopefully avoid the usual pitfalls of cinematic continuations of beloved series.
